Who we support
Schools, Universities & Clubs
A Formative Milestone, Not Just a Trip
“My son climbed Kilimanjaro with Impact Kilimanjaro in February and I'd highly recommend them for adult and/or children's climbs.”
Why institutions climb Kilimanjaro
Impact Kilimanjaro partners with schools, universities and clubs to turn a Kilimanjaro summit into a challenge that builds confidence, resilience and real-world skills far beyond the classroom.
Every expedition is planned around your institution’s goals, from a graduating class trip to a club tradition years in the making.
IB CAS and enrichment
Training for and completing the climb gives IB Diploma students a genuine challenge to evidence in their CAS record: commitment, perseverance and Activity, plus Service when the climb raises money for a cause. Your CAS coordinator decides how it is recorded.
Leadership and resilience
A shared goal that takes months of preparation and a week of real discomfort. Students learn to lead, look after each other and keep going, which is hard to teach any other way.
Fundraising and service
Many groups use the climb to raise money for a chosen charity or school project, so months of training turn into something students can point to and be proud of.
